Read on for a short introduction and preview of Mr. Tatters.
It was a perfectly normal murder. There were Egyptian artifacts on display at the dinner party. I was the center of attention that evening, of course. As an American visiting London, I mean. Robbery broke out and I was murdered. And then I was fine. Until I woke up in the future! In an America I do not recognize, a future Jules Verne might dream of. My soul has resurrected somehow, but only partly. I am hollow, angry, driven to find vengeance. Where I am trapped, my twig of existence is carried by a torrent of dangerous whitewater--locked away in this NIGHTMARE. THE MONSTER

Derived from a series of real life reports, Mister Tatters is a disturbing thriller.
Mild spoilers ahead.
The story of American entrepreneur and proto-archeologist Andrew Thaddeus picks up in Victorian England.

Sadly, his next stop is at a dinner party where robbers break in with ill intent.

He reveals an urn he has returned with that has mysterious qualities. Even as he begins to discuss the artifacts, he is murdered and the house burned.

Rather than the afterlife he expected, Thaddeus finds himself in modern times. Literally, a shell of a man—one made of cloth from the artifact.

In his rage against small time crooks, Thaddeus is able to control the body he now has. But the price might be his sanity.

Tatters, hulks through the city becoming increasing depressed and alienated. He seems to happily dispense vigilante justice at the top end of cruelty.
We are possibly recommending the story to parents and older teens with their parents’ guidance as the story dips into the very real, very true stories of suburban sex slavery. Every part of this graphic novel is rooted in actual events in the United States and around the world.
And to be sure, you have not guessed the outcome or twists ornamenting the tale with humor and color.
As the cover says, anti-comic readers are praising Mister Tatters!
